IT Administrator

What to expect?

Responsibility for internal IT operations and users
User communication and support, dealing with requirements
Managing ad hoc tasks
Administration of terminal equipment – desktops, printing solutions
Day-to-day communication with users
Long-term projects and the installation of new equipment (LAN, EZS, CAM)
Service at client’s place

What you should already know (or be willing to learn):

HW architecture of desktop stations and servers – RAM, CPU, disks, controllers
HW diagnostics – disk testing, RAM
Network infrastructure HW – switches, WIFI AP, modems, etc., cabling, wireless networks and technology
OSI model in general
File systems and how they differ – NTFS, FAT, ZFS, UFS
Knowledge of OS Windows 7→, Windows server 2008→,
OS installation and basic settings, work with file systems, users, setting up the network environment, event log and analysis
OS backup and recovery, backup principles, native means, practical application of backup and recovery skills
MS Windows – OS repairs, safe mode, installation and upgrade of drivers

You are an IT expert wishing to further develop his/her skills.
You have got excellent communication skills; you are reliable, meticulous and loyal.
You can quickly solve non-standard situations while assuming responsibility for the tasks assigned and performed.
You have got analytical thinking skills and are proactive at work.
You have got secondary education in electrical engineering or IT.
You have got experience with a similar position – internship, temporary student job.
